Laney Witham is the Fire Protection Specialist for Hilti responsible for the Louisiana and Southern Mississippi markets. Laney has been with Hilti for five years supporting various construction markets along the coast. Since promoting into the role of Fire Protection Specialist, she has educated those in the commercial industry about the importance of life safety in occupied buildings. Laney has a passion for fire protection and the important role it plays in healthcare facilities.

Bo Lane has been with Hilti in the Fire Protection market for the past 16 years and is currently a Division Technical Services Manager based in Houston, TX. As a member of Hilti Technical Services, Bo has conducted numerous educational seminars for Building Code Officials, Architects, Engineers, Fire Marshals, Healthcare Facilities, Construction Trade Organizations and Contractors in the proper use of passive fire protection as it relates to life safety and protection of property.

Scott Hamilton is a 30-year plumber and member of Plumbers Local 75, Milwaukee, WI. He served as Local 75’s President and Training Director. Scott graduated from the UA Instructor Training Program, and he has been training the industry for 26 years. He has served on the ASSE Series 12000 Working Group and Technical Committee which worked with the industry in the development of the standard. Scott works with the United Association in the training and certification of pipe trades workers and contractors throughout the United States. Scott also serves on several UA, IAPMO, and ASSE Committees and is currently the Senior Director at IAPMO/ASSE

• The presentation discusses the ASSE Series 12000 - Professional Qualifications Standard for Infection Control Risk Assessment for all Buildings.
